Running for Laptop's mission is two-fold...to support the education of at-risk students and provide the rest of us with a fun, organized way to team up with our friends, families and colleagues to stay fit.

Running for Laptops runners raise money to purchase laptop computers for students who are part of the Educational Assistance Initiative of Family Services of Western Pennsylvania. This program provides resources to young people who are aging out of social services as they make the transition from high school to a post-secondary education. These kids have overcome a lot to get where they are and we are supporting them with the tools they need to continue their success.
