Details:

Family Based Behavioral Health Services are designed to prevent psychiatric hospitalization and other out-of-home placements.  Our goal is to keep families together in their homes and their communities and to keep families as primary caregivers.  We focus on the family as a whole and not individuals with emphasis on families developing self-reliance.

Families take an active role in treatment assessment, planning and implementation.  Services are designed to be least restrictive, time-limited and culturally competent.  Services are provided in home or in the community and are adapted to accommodate schedules of family members.

History:

By empowering families to use their strengths and skills and by showing them how to use their natural support systems, families can make positive, long-lasting changes which will improve the quality of their lives.
