The Adult Acute Partial Hospitalization Program is a goal-focused, time-limited, intensive treatment program.  It allows an individual to receive intensive treatment without the restrictions of a locked, inpatient psychiatric unit.  By attending the program during the day an individual can maintain his/her independence by remaining at home and in the community.

This program was developed because Family Services of Western Pennsylvania believes in respecting the rights, dignity and diversity of every individual.
