Partial Hospitalization Program

Supports: 

Adults (aged 18 or older) as an alternative to inpatient care or as a transition from inpatient to outpatient care who:


(1) Are experiencing a severe episode of psychotic or mood disorder or who would face real risk of inpatient hospitalization without intensive treatment, or
(2) Have a dual diagnosis of both mental health and substance abuse issues, provided that the primary mental health diagnosis is a mood, anxiety or psychotic disorder.

Details: 

The Adult Acute Partial Hospitalization Program is a goal-focused, time-limited, intensive treatment program.  It allows an individual to receive intensive treatment without the restrictions of a locked, inpatient psychiatric unit.  By attending the program during the day an individual can maintain his/her independence by remaining at home and in the community.
